Creative Travel Tip: With a lack of responsibilities inherent in leisure travel, take some time to make a video greeting card for a friend. Maybe this could be a friend you haven’t seen in awhile?
Today is my first video card. On another day we’ll try something different for someone else. It just so happened that one particular person whom I haven’t seen or spoken to in a long time sent me a greeting.
This morning, during my perfect morning in Oahu, I decided to be playful and make a greeting for a friend. Little Sky and I sprawled in the sand on Kailua Beach (which, by the way, is said to be the most beautiful beach in the United States). She explored the sand between her toes. I practiced sand writing while holding my Flip camera.
This afternoon we interview a contact juggler in Waikiki (think crystal ball ala David Bowie in Labyrinth) and a creative ceramic artist and musician who has been commissioned to make pottery for the television show “Lost”. I keep attracting Lost stuff to myself. Hopefully that works for you! I kind of dig it.
For now, we lounge in the Fairytale Beach Palace and gaze at the uber blue water. Today is the first day all week with calmer winds.
I have some really cool footage of the Lost Beach Camp coming soon (including a good shot of Sawyer’s chair
)
Aloha.

Hi Irene! I stumbled across this site through somewhere- it must have been facebook? a few weeks ago. At first, I thought- what are they doing?? Now, I think I’m starting to get it. I’m glad y’all have imagined yet another outlet for your creativity and a way to move forward and grow. So HELLO to Oahu from Corpus!
Hi Sara! Thank you so much for checking it out! U R awesome. This site will start to make more sense as we go along. We have lots of great plans for its development. Aloha back to Texas! Hugs
Wish we were there! The beach and the house look beautiful. It’s wonderful that Little Sky is experiencing sand between her toes and wonderful sunsets on a daily basis. Hope the new house works out for you. I’m looking forward to hearing about the experiences on the next island. xoxoxoxoxoxo
